High-temperature aluminium foil tape, 50 yards on a liner, conforms to curves and seals ducts from -20 to 260 degrees F
This FindTape aluminum foil tape is built for HVAC professionals and maintenance crews who need reliable sealing of duct joints and connections. The aggressive acrylic adhesive bonds quickly to metal ductwork and holds securely across wide temperature swings. It also serves well for temporary metal repairs and moisture barriers on drums or canisters.
The tape operates from -20 degrees F up to 260 degrees F without losing grip, so it stays sealed through heating cycles and cold starts. A 2 mil dead-soft foil backing makes it highly conformable to curved or irregular surfaces, while the 4 mil total thickness resists tearing during application. Quick stick and ultimate adhesion reduce rework on the job.
Supplied on a release liner, the roll measures 3/4 in by 50 yds, giving enough length for multiple duct runs without frequent roll changes. The dead-soft foil wraps tight corners and flanges without spring-back, freeing installers from fighting stiff tape. No special tools are required beyond a clean surface and firm pressure.

Remove the release liner, press the dead soft aluminum foil onto the surface, and smooth it with a roller or firm hand pressure; the foil conforms to irregular shapes so bubbles release as you work.
The adhesive is rated for continuous exposure up to 260 °F and down to -20 °F, so normal HVAC temperature swings stay within its design range.
The tape is rated to 260 °F; sustained heat above that level is the first limit that can reduce backing and adhesive performance.
