This five-foot Cat6 patch cord uses 24 AWG stranded bare-copper conductors and a CM-rated PVC jacket to carry 550 MHz signals. Unshielded RJ45 plugs with 50-micron gold pins follow the 568B wiring code and meet ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 6 standards. It is built for standard Ethernet drops up to 100 metres in offices and homes.

Snagless boot and gold-plated contacts

A moulded snagless boot protects the latch during repeated insertions while the gold-plated pins resist oxidation for reliable contact. The 5.8 mm jacket meets UL and cUL listings plus RoHS compliance, so the cable can be routed through plenum-adjacent spaces without extra sleeving.

Simple push-in installation
