Everyday Titanium SoftGrip Scissors

The Fiskars 1067265 is an 8-inch all-purpose scissor designed for household, office and craft use. It cuts paper, cardstock, cardboard and photos with a straight blade profile suited to general tasks. The tool is sold new as a single unit for right-handed users seeking a reliable daily cutter.

Titanium-coated stainless steel blades

Blades feature a titanium coating stated to be three times harder than plain steel, helping the edge stay sharp through repeated use. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion while the coating reduces friction during cuts. Ergonomic SoftGrip handles are sculpted to fit the hand and a screw hinge allows the blades to be separated for easy cleaning.

Practical limits of the straight-blade design

The straight blades excel at linear cuts on flat materials but are not suited to intricate curves or heavy fabric work. Titanium coating improves wear resistance yet the underlying steel can still dull if used on abrasive substrates like sandpaper or metal foil. Users needing pinking, serrated or left-handed models should select a different pattern.
