Product Identity

This is a two-pack of solar-powered post cap lights, model FL19, each fitted with 16 LEDs and a 600 mAh rechargeable battery. They mount on 3.5x3.5 inch or 4x4 inch wooden and vinyl posts to illuminate decks, fences and garden paths.

Fit and Limits

The lights suit homeowners wanting wireless, automatic accent lighting for standard post sizes with a choice of warm or cool white output. They do not suit buyers who need mains-powered brightness, motion-activated security beams, or fixtures for non-standard post dimensions.

Capacity and Runtime

A full charge from 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight typically powers the LEDs for 8 to 10 hours overnight. The IP64-rated ABS housing handles rain, snow and heat, while the diamond-pattern lens projects a 360-degree glow. Extended overcast periods will reduce operating time.

Questions about this item

What size wooden or vinyl posts must I already have for these caps to fit?

The lights include bases for 3.5 x 3.5 inch and 4 x 4 inch posts, so you need posts in one of those two sizes.

Will the diamond-pattern lens still project light clearly if my existing posts are weathered?

Yes, the IP64-rated ABS housing shields the 16 LEDs and lens from rain, snow and heat, so the 360-degree pattern stays bright on aged posts.

How can I confirm the solar panel and 600 mAh battery are charging correctly after mounting?

Place the caps in direct sun for 6 to 8 hours; at dusk they should auto-illuminate for 8 to 10 hours in either warm or cool white mode.
