Clear Polycarbonate Chair Mat for Deep-Pile Carpets

This Floortex Ultimat mat is a transparent floor protector made from original polycarbonate material. It is designed for offices and home workspaces that use rolling chairs on carpets thicker than one-half inch. The rigid surface delivers an easy-glide roll for ergonomic movement while shielding the carpet from caster wear and damage.

Limits of the Polycarbonate Surface on Thick Carpet

The mat is built specifically for deep plush pile carpets exceeding one-half inch in thickness, including padding. Friendly grippers on the underside provide hold on this surface type; the product is not intended for hard floors or low-pile carpets where the gripper design would not engage correctly. A manufacturing tolerance of plus or minus five percent applies to the stated dimensions.

0.11-Inch Thickness and Instant Flat Use

At 0.11 inches thick, the mat lies perfectly flat straight from delivery with no waiting period for flattening. This rigidity prevents curling, cracking, dimpling or discoloration under normal use. The dimension determines whether the mat clears desk bases or door thresholds in your specific layout.
