Elite 5.1 System for Immersive Audio

The Fluance Elite SX51WR is a complete 5.1 channel home theater speaker system finished in walnut. It includes three-way floorstanding towers, a center channel, rear surround speakers, and a powered 10-inch subwoofer. This timbre-matched ensemble is designed for listeners who want a cohesive, high-definition surround sound experience for movies and music from a single package.

Verify Amplifier Compatibility and Placement

Before ordering, confirm your AV receiver or amplifier provides five channels of amplification plus a subwoofer pre-out for the powered sub. Ensure you have adequate floor space for the two floorstanding towers and a suitable location for the center channel near your display. The rear surrounds require placement behind or beside the listening position, so check cable routing paths and mounting options in your room.

Passive Speakers with Powered Bass

The floorstanding towers, center, and rear surrounds are passive speakers drawing power from your external amplifier, so their heat and noise contribution is negligible. The 10-inch subwoofer houses its own built-in amplifier; in normal use it runs cool and quiet, adding only a modest amount to your system's overall power draw. No active cooling fans are present in any cabinet.

Questions about this item

What speakers and subwoofer are included in the SX51WR system, and what must I buy separately?

The system includes three-way floorstanding towers, a center channel, rear surround speakers and a 10-inch powered subwoofer; you will need an AV receiver or amplifier to drive the passive speakers.

How do I decide between the floorstanding towers and the surround speakers for my room layout?

Use the floorstanding towers as the front left and right channels for full-range sound, the center channel for dialogue, and the rear surrounds for immersive effects — all five are timbre-matched for a cohesive 5.1 setup.

What does the 5.1 channel designation mean for my movie and music experience?

It delivers five full-range channels plus a dedicated 10-inch subwoofer for low-frequency effects, creating a surround sound field that reproduces Dolby and DTS soundtracks with distinct directional audio and deep bass.
