7.1 Home Theater Speaker System

The Fluance SX71WR is a complete 7.1 surround sound system designed for dedicated home theater rooms. It includes floorstanding towers, a center channel, surround and rear surround speakers, plus a powered 10-inch subwoofer. Every speaker is timbre matched so that pans and effects move seamlessly around the listener without tonal shifts.

Capacity and headroom for immersive audio

The seven passive speakers and powered subwoofer combine to fill medium to large rooms with detailed soundtracks and music. The 10-inch driver delivers deep, room-shaking bass for cinematic impact, while the silk dome tweeters keep high frequencies clear at high volumes. Extremely large or open-plan spaces may demand more output than the system can provide.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

All satellite speakers are passive, so they generate no heat or electrical noise and draw no power from the wall. The subwoofer contains its own amplifier, which runs cool and quiet during typical movie and music playback. Only sustained, very high output levels will cause the subwoofer amplifier to warm noticeably.

Questions about this item

Will the SX71WR floorstanding towers and surrounds integrate with my existing AV receiver?

The SX71WR is a passive 7.1 speaker system, so it connects to any AV receiver with matching speaker-level outputs for front, centre, surround and rear-surround channels.

How can I confirm the DB10 subwoofer and all seven speakers are performing correctly after installation?

Run your receiver’s auto-calibration routine; it will measure each channel, set distances and levels, and verify the 10-inch powered subwoofer and all satellites are phase-aligned and outputting sound.

What does the SX71WR package include and what must I supply separately?

The box contains two floorstanding towers, a centre channel, two surround speakers, two rear-surround speakers and the powered DB10 subwoofer; you must provide an AV receiver, speaker wire and a subwoofer cable.
