Fiber Optic Cleaning Kit for Network Technicians

The Fluke Networks NFC-KIT-CASE provides a complete cleaning solution for fiber optic connectors and ports. It is built for field technicians and installers who must guarantee contamination-free end-faces before every mating to maintain tight loss budgets in high-speed networks.

Rugged Case with Sealed Cards and Solvent Pen

The kit packs ten cards with sealed cleaning zones, a cleaning cube with wipes, and a solvent pen inside a rugged carrying case. These components let users clean connector end-faces and bulkhead adapters on site without carrying separate bottles or loose wipes.

Dual-Size Swabs Cover 2.5mm and 1.25mm Ports

Included swabs target both 2.5mm and 1.25mm ferrule sizes, the two common connector formats in enterprise and data-center cabling. Technicians needing swabs for other ferrule diameters or automated cleaning systems will need additional equipment.

Questions about this item

How often do I replace the 10 sealed cleaning cards?

Each card provides multiple sealed zones; replace a card once all its zones have been used or if a zone becomes visibly soiled.

What runs out first during a full day of connector cleaning?

The solvent pen fluid will deplete before the swabs or cards, so keep a spare pen for continuous work.

Does the solvent pen or swabs leave residue that heats up on live fibers?

The pen uses a fast-evaporating, residue-free formula and the swabs are lint-free, so no residue remains to absorb light or generate heat.
