Dual-Monitor KVM for Two Computers

This FOCUSTEC KVM switch connects two desktops or laptops to one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors. Each computer must provide an HDMI and a DisplayPort output. The unit supports extended or mirrored desktop modes for a compact, dual-screen workspace.

Sustained 4K 60 Hz Operation

The switch conforms to HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, maintaining UHD 4K at 60 Hz (3840 x 2160) continuously. It also handles QHD at 60 Hz (2560 x 1440) and FHD at 60 Hz (1920 x 1080) without dropping frames during long sessions. HDCP 2.2, HDR 10 and Dolby Vision pass through unchanged.

Interface and Switching Limits

Video bandwidth is bounded by the HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 standards, so resolutions above 4K 60 Hz are not possible. USB peripherals operate at 2.0 speeds through the integrated hub. Auto-scan intervals can be set from 8 to 999 seconds. Any adapter used on the outputs will further limit the maximum supported resolution.

Questions about this item

Does the CKL-622DH draw much power or get hot when it runs all day?

The unit is bus-powered over USB 2.0 so it draws very little current and stays cool during continuous use.

What cables must I already have to connect two computers and two monitors to the CKL-622DH?

Each computer needs one HDMI cable and one DisplayPort cable; each monitor needs the matching HDMI or DisplayPort input cable.

Will my older 1920 x 1080 monitors work with the CKL-622DH alongside a newer 4K screen?

Yes — the switch supports 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz on one output while driving 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz on the other.
