Right-Angled Banana Plugs for Tight Spaces

These right-angled banana plugs simplify speaker wire connections in cramped corners behind A/V receivers, amplifiers, surround sound systems or banana wall plates. The side-entry design keeps wiring tidy where straight plugs would not fit. They suit installers who need a low-profile termination without sacrificing grip.

12-18 AWG Capacity with Dual-Screw Security

Each plug accepts 12 to 18 AWG speaker wire and clamps it with two set screws for a firm hold. The 6-leaf, 24k gold-plated contact resists corrosion and maintains a solid socket grip. Wire thicker than 12 AWG or thinner than 18 AWG cannot be secured reliably in these terminals.

Colour-Coded Collars and Four-Plug Pack

Gold-plated collars are colour coded for quick polarity identification during installation. The package supplies two pairs, enough for a single stereo speaker run. Buyers wiring more than two speakers or needing spade or pin terminations will require additional connectors.

Questions about this item

Will these right-angled banana plugs fit the 12AWG speaker wire I already have installed?

Yes, the plugs accept 12AWG to 18AWG speaker wire, so your existing 12AWG cable will fit securely with the dual set screws.

How can I confirm the 6-leaf gold-plated connectors are making proper contact after installation?

A solid connection is indicated when the banana plug seats firmly into the binding post with no intermittent sound; the 6-leaf design provides a stronger socket grip for reliable contact.

Are the four plugs in the package colour-coded for polarity, and do I need to buy any extra hardware?

The package includes four right-angled banana plugs (two pairs) with colour-coded collars for polarity identification; no additional hardware is required for installation.
