Splits Gigabit PoE into 5 V 4 A USB-C power and 10/100/1000 Mbps data for Raspberry Pi 5 and other devices
This adapter delivers 5 V at up to 4 A over a USB-C connector, drawing power from an IEEE 802.3af/at PoE source. It targets Raspberry Pi 5 boards, IP cameras, tablets and similar non-PoE devices that need both data and power from a single Ethernet run.
The splitter passes 10/100/1000 Mbps traffic while negotiating 802.3af or 802.3at power classes on the wire. It supports both 1/2 (+), 3/6 (–) and 4/5 (+), 7/8 (–) pin assignments, so it works with a wide range of PoE switches and injectors without rewiring. Category 5 UTP or better cabling is required for reliable operation at the rated speed.
The 5 V rail supplies a maximum of 4 A, which covers the Raspberry Pi 5 under typical loads plus attached peripherals. Continuous operation is rated from 0 °C to 55 °C at up to 90 % humidity, while storage tolerates –20 °C to 70 °C at 95 % humidity. An input power LED gives immediate visual confirmation that PoE voltage is present.

This single model delivers 5 V at up to 4 A through a USB-C male connector and is built specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5, so there are no alternative capacities or versions to select.
The gigabit Ethernet link carries both data and power simultaneously, so the Pi 5 can sustain up to 1000 Mbps network throughput while drawing its full 5 V 4 A supply from the same cable.
The adapter accepts any IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at PoE source — switches, injectors or midspans — and converts it to 5 V 4 A over USB-C, so the connected device must operate within that 5 V 4 A envelope.
