Converts 48 V PoE to 5 V 2.4 A micro USB power and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet for non-PoE devices
The KEHIPI 5V 2.4A PoE Splitter is a two-pack adapter that converts IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet into a micro USB power connection and a 10/100Mbps RJ45 data port. It lets non-PoE micro USB devices such as Raspberry Pi 2 or 3, Fire TV Ethernet adapters, Wyze Cam v2, Arlo Pro 2, ASUS Tinker Board, Chromecast and similar hardware receive both power and network data over a single Ethernet cable up to 300 feet from the PoE source.
Each splitter connects inline between a PoE switch or injector and the target device using a standard Ethernet cable; no drivers or configuration are required. The unit delivers DC 5V at 2.4A from a DC 48V PoE input with 2.5kV isolation and automatic device detection before power is applied. Problems usually arise when the upstream switch or injector does not fully comply with the 802.3af standard, when the Ethernet cable exceeds the supported distance, or when the connected device draws more than 2.4A, causing the protection circuit to shut down.
This splitter suits installers who need to power micro USB devices in locations without nearby AC outlets but within reach of an 802.3af PoE network drop. It is not suitable for devices that require higher output voltage or current, for equipment using USB-C or barrel power connectors, for networks that demand gigabit data rates, or for environments where no PoE infrastructure exists.

The splitter detects the connected device before enabling PoE input; once the micro USB plug is attached to your Raspberry Pi or camera, the unit will deliver 5V at up to 2.4A and the Ethernet link will negotiate at 10/100Mbps.
The package includes two 48V to 5V active PoE splitters with micro USB power plugs; you must supply an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE switch or injector, an Ethernet cable of the required length, and the micro USB devices you wish to power.
This model provides a fixed 5V 2.4A output from a 48V 802.3af PoE source, so select it when your micro USB device requires up to 2.4A; no other capacity variants are offered in this listing.
