25 ft Cat8 S/FTP cable for high-speed LANs

This 25 ft white Cat8 patch cable is built for desktop PCs, servers and network gear that demand the highest copper bandwidth available today. It suits installers who need a single run up to 25 ft without joining shorter segments.

2 GHz bandwidth and 40 Gbps data rate

The cable is rated for 2,000 MHz bandwidth and supports up to 40 Gbps transfer speeds over its full 25 ft length. That single figure decides whether the link can carry 25G or 40G Ethernet without dropping to a lower category.

Shielded pairs maintain signal under continuous load

Each of the four 24 AWG stranded pure-copper pairs is foil-shielded and the overall bundle adds a braid shield, so alien crosstalk stays low even during sustained 40 Gbps traffic. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts resist oxidation during long-term use.

Questions about this item

Will the 2 GHz bandwidth actually deliver 40 Gbps on my home router?

The cable supports up to 40 Gbps and 2 GHz bandwidth, but the link speed is limited by the slowest port on your router, switch or network card.

What does the S/FTP shielding do for the RJ45 connection?

Each twisted pair is foil wrapped and all four pairs share an overall braid, reducing crosstalk and external noise right up to the gold plated contacts.

How stiff is the 25 ft white PVC jacket when routing around skirting boards?

Stranded 24 AWG conductors make the cable flexible enough for tight bends behind furniture while the PVC jacket resists kinks and abrasion.
