Dual-Computer Dual-Monitor KVM

The GCROWN KVM switch lets two computers share two displays, a keyboard, a mouse and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals. It accepts one DisplayPort and one HDMI connection from each system and mirrors those signals to matching monitor inputs. Extended and copy display modes are both supported.

Four USB 3.0 Ports With Backward Compatibility

The four downstream USB 3.0 ports share printers, scanners, keyboards and mice between the connected computers. They remain compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Switching is handled by a front-panel button or the included wired desktop controller for convenient access.

Check Port Matching And Cable Capability

Each computer must provide both a DisplayPort and an HDMI output; the switch does not convert between them. DP inputs route only to DP monitors and HDMI inputs only to HDMI monitors. Both systems, both displays and all cables must support 3840×2160 at 60 to achieve that resolution.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.0 ports need a firmware update to keep working with new peripherals?

The four USB 3.0 ports are backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices and require no firmware updates for continued operation.

What limits 4K@60Hz output during long sessions?

Sustained 3840×2160@60Hz output requires both computers, both monitors and all cables to support 4K@60Hz; the first missing link caps the resolution.

Does the switch generate noticeable heat or fan noise when running all day?

The unit has no fan and draws minimal power, so it stays cool and silent during continuous operation.
