A 60 A, three-pole bolt-on breaker rated 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity for lighting panels and load centres
This GE THQB miniature circuit breaker provides 60 A over-current protection on a 120/240 V AC three-phase supply. It mounts by bolt-on in compatible load centres and lighting panels. The toggle actuator gives clear on/off indication. The breaker carries a 10 kA interrupting rating at the rated voltage.
The 10 kA AIR rating is the maximum prospective fault current this device can safely interrupt at 120/240 V AC. Installations with higher available fault current require a breaker with a greater interrupting capacity. The standard frame size is 100 A, so the 60 A trip unit fits that frame without change.
Verify the load centre accepts THQB bolt-on breakers and has space for a three-pole unit. Confirm the panel bus rating suits a 60 A device. Use copper conductors between 8 AWG and 3 AWG with the lug terminals provided. The breaker is not rated for DC circuits.

Select the 60 A three-pole breaker when your circuit requires 60 A protection on a 120/240 V AC three-phase panel; other amperages protect different load levels.
It means the breaker can safely interrupt up to 10 000 amps of fault current at 120/240 V AC without damage.
Yes, the bolt-on design fits GE load centres and lighting panels that accept THQB frame breakers.
