Universal Grill Side Shelf Mat

The Geban silicone grill mat measures 16x12 inches and fits the side shelves of Blackstone, Weber, Pit Boss, Traeger, Napoleon and other popular flat-top grills. It creates a dedicated zone for spatulas, tongs, seasoning jars and other BBQ accessories while shielding the shelf from grease, heat and scratches. The food-grade silicone construction withstands high temperatures and cleans up with a quick rinse.

Replaces Foil And Disposable Liners

Unlike single-use foil or parchment paper, this reusable mat provides a non-stick, heat-resistant surface that stays in place during cooking. The jump is worth it when you want a permanent, washable station that prevents tools from sliding off the shelf and stops grease from soaking into the grill’s paint or powder coating. It also works as a trivet or drip mat on outdoor kitchen countertops and electric stovetops.

Simple Placement And Care

No tools or fasteners are required; the mat lays flat on any clean, dry side shelf or countertop. The flexible silicone conforms to slight curves but will not adhere to heavily textured or wet surfaces. Buyers who need a larger coverage area or a mat that locks into specific grill rails should look elsewhere. Avoid cutting the mat, as trimming removes the sealed edge that resists tearing.

Questions about this item

Will the 16x12 inch mat fit my grill side shelf?

The mat measures 16x12 inches and is designed for universal fit on side shelves and countertops of brands including Blackstone, Weber, Pit Boss, Traeger, Napoleon, Charbroil, Royal Gourmet, Master Cook, Bestfire, Captiva Designs, and others.

How do I install the mat and what mistake should I avoid?

Simply lay the flexible silicone mat flat on a clean, dry side shelf or countertop; the common mistake is placing it on a wet or greasy surface, which can cause it to slide during use.

How do I clean the mat and when should I replace it?

Wash with warm soapy water or place in the dishwasher; replace if the silicone shows deep cuts, permanent staining, or loses its non-slip grip.
