Portable CD Boombox

The Gelielim US9228 is a compact top-loading CD boombox that plays audio CDs, CD-R and CD-RW discs, and audiobook CDs. It also streams audio wirelessly via Bluetooth, reads USB and SD cards, and receives AM and FM radio stations. Dual stereo speakers deliver clear sound for home listening or portable use.

Listening options and limits

This unit suits listeners who want a single device for physical discs, wireless streaming, digital files on USB or SD, and broadcast radio. It does not play MP3-encoded CDs, so buyers with MP3 CD collections should look elsewhere. There is no cassette deck and no built-in rechargeable battery; operation requires mains power or six C-size alkaline cells.

Disc format constraint

The decisive specification is that MP3 CDs are not supported, while standard audio CDs, CD-R and CD-RW discs are. If your library is on MP3 CDs you will need a different player; otherwise the US9228 covers CD, Bluetooth, USB, SD and AM/FM sources in one box.
