Multi-room ceiling speaker system

The Gemini ARIA926DW 638 pack contains four 8-inch in-ceiling speakers designed for distributed audio throughout a home. Each unit combines an 8-inch woofer with a 1-inch tweeter in a coaxial layout. The black ABS housings fit flush into ceilings or walls for a clean look in kitchens, living rooms or covered porches. Paintable grilles allow the visible parts to match any décor.

4-ohm nominal impedance

Every speaker in the set presents a 4-ohm load, so the amplifier or receiver driving them must be stable at that impedance. The system handles 400 watts peak across the four channels, with each speaker rated for 100 watts. Frequency response spans 27 Hz to 120 kHz, while the manufacturer highlights cite a 68 Hz to 20 kHz range and 89 dB sensitivity. Wired terminals accept standard speaker cable.

Passive design needs external amplification

These are passive speakers; they require a separate multi-channel amplifier or receiver with enough channels for the zones you plan to cover. The shallow 25 mm mounting depth eases installation in tight ceiling cavities. No remote control or built-in streaming is included, so source selection and volume are managed at the amplifier. The package suits buyers who want a wired, whole-home audio foundation without proprietary ecosystems.

Questions about this item

What does 400W mean for a four-speaker set in a real room?

The 400W peak rating splits as 100W per speaker, so each unit handles short bursts at that level while continuous listening runs well below it.

How does the 4 Ω nominal impedance affect amplifier matching?

A 4 Ω load draws more current than 8 Ω designs; choose an amp rated for 4 Ω to avoid overheating or shutdown at higher volumes.

What cut-out size fits the 120 mm square frame?

The frame measures 120×120 mm (4.72 in square) with a 25 mm depth, so cut a matching square hole and ensure at least 25 mm clearance above the ceiling.
