Rugged tablet for field work

The Getac K120 is a new rugged tablet built to MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards, surviving 1.8 metre drops and vibration. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8550U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD. A 12.5 inch IPS LumiBond touchscreen delivers 1200 nits brightness for sunlight-readable clarity at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Suits mobile professionals needing durability

This unit fits field engineers, logistics crews and public-safety teams who require a sealed, drop-resistant device with integrated Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5 and optional 4G LTE connectivity. Buyers who need a lightweight consumer tablet for indoor media consumption should look elsewhere, as the rugged chassis adds weight and the UHD Graphics 620 is not intended for gaming or heavy 3D rendering.

12.5 inch 1200-nit LumiBond display

The defining specification is the 12.5 inch Full HD IPS panel rated at 1200 nits with Getac LumiBond technology, enabling readable touch input in direct sunlight and while wearing gloves. If your workflow does not demand high-brightness outdoor visibility, a standard indoor panel on a lighter device may be more practical.
