A 2.5 inch SATA internal SSD with 1TB of 3D NAND storage delivering up to 560 MB/s read and 530 MB/s write speeds for faster boot and load times
The Gigastone GAME TURBO 1TB 2.5" internal SSD uses 3D NAND and SLC cache technology on a SATA III interface. It delivers sequential read speeds up to 560 MBps and write speeds up to 530 MBps. The drive fits standard 7 mm bays in laptops, desktops and ultrabooks.
This drive suits users upgrading a mechanical hard drive in a SATA-equipped laptop, notebook or desktop. Random 4 KB reads reach 95000 IOPS and writes reach 90000 IOPS for responsive everyday workloads. Systems that need a PCIe or M.2 interface cannot use this 2.5" SATA form factor.
Under sustained load the SSD maintains its random 4 KB performance at 95000 read and 90000 write IOPS. Total bytes written endurance is rated at 500 TB with an MTBF of 1500000 hours. Idle power consumption peaks at 30 mW to limit thermal output during long sessions.
Measured against everything we stock in Internal NVMe & SATA SSDs, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the 2.5 inch form factor and 7 mm height match standard laptop and desktop drive bays, so it drops straight into the slot your old HDD used.
No, the SATA III interface connects directly to a standard SATA data cable and power connector already present in most PCs and laptops.
Run a benchmark tool such as CrystalDiskMark or AS SSD and check that sequential read and write results are close to the rated 560 MBps and 530 MBps figures.
