A pair of 8-inch, three-way in-ceiling speakers with 40 Hz to 20 kHz response and 95 dB sensitivity, mounting flush with a tool-free pressure-lock system
The Goldwood Sound Acoustic Audio CSic83 is a pair of 8-inch three-way in-ceiling speakers designed for whole-home audio or home-theatre installations. They suit owners who want flush-mount sound without visible cabinets and who already have a receiver or amplifier with raw speaker outputs. Builders needing active or wireless speakers should look elsewhere.
The package includes two passive speakers with integrated 3-way crossovers, poly-mica midranges and 13mm soft-dome tweeters, plus paintable grilles and the Pressure Lock Mounting System that clamps to drywall without extra hardware. No wire, receiver or amplification is supplied, so the buyer must provide CL3-rated speaker cable and an amplifier delivering between 10 and 350 watts per channel.
Each speaker presents an 8-ohm load and a 40Hz–20kHz frequency response at 95dB sensitivity, requiring a compatible amplifier within the stated power window. The round cut-out must measure 9.45 inches with at least 3.78 inches of mounting depth behind the ceiling. Spring-loaded terminals accept only bare wire, so connectors or banana plugs cannot be used.

The butyl rubber surrounds resist drying and cracking far longer than foam, so the 8" woofers should not need scheduled replacement under normal indoor use.
The 350 W per channel maximum is the hard limit; exceeding it risks thermal compression or driver damage before sensitivity becomes a factor.
Passive crossovers dissipate only a few watts as heat, and the ABS housings do not trap significant warmth, so cavity temperature rise stays minimal.
