5.1 Surround System for Home Theater

The Goldwood Sound AA5400 is a six-piece speaker set built for living-room surround sound. It includes five wired satellite speakers and one powered subwoofer driven by an integrated 300 Watt amplifier. Bluetooth 5.1 lets you stream audio directly from a phone or tablet. The system targets buyers who want multi-channel immersion without a separate AV receiver.

Plug-and-Play Connectivity and Placement

The subwoofer measures 11.75 x 7.5 x 10.5 inches and houses the amplifier plus RCA, optical, AUX, USB, SD and FM inputs. Five satellites measure 7 x 4.5 x 4 inches each and feature hang notches for wall mounting. Front and center speakers run on 7.5 foot raw-wire cables; rear speakers use 25.5 foot cables for flexible room layout. A standard US 110V grounded plug powers the entire system.

Upgrade from Soundbars or Stereo Sets

This package replaces basic soundbars or two-channel desktop speakers by adding discrete center, surround and subwoofer channels. The Pro Surround function up-mixes stereo sources to 5.1 automatically. It is not suited for users who need HDMI switching, object-based audio formats, or a fully wireless rear-channel setup. The jump is worth it when you want true channel separation and physical bass impact in a single box.

Questions about this item

How long are the satellite speaker cables on the AA5400?

The two front and centre satellites each have 7.5 foot raw wire cables and the two rear satellites each have 25.5 foot raw wire cables.

How much heat does the built-in 300 Watt amplifier produce during extended playback?

The powered subwoofer cabinet vents the amplifier heat, so the unit warms up but stays within normal operating temperatures for a home-theatre system.

Which sources can I connect directly to the AA5400 without extra adapters?

Any device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, digital optical output, stereo RCA pair or six-channel RCA outputs plugs straight into the rear panel.
