Six-piece in-wall center set

This six-piece in-wall speaker set is built for home-theater surround sound and whole-house audio. The passive design draws power directly from any receiver or amplifier with raw speaker-wire outputs, so no separate power supply is needed. Each unit uses a Pressure Lock Mounting System that clamps to drywall without extra hardware, and the removable grilles can be painted to match the room. Buyers who need powered or wireless speakers should look elsewhere.

Dual 6.5" woofers and 12mm tweeter

The critical specification is the dual 6.5-inch woven-fibre woofers paired with a 12-millimetre soft-dome tweeter in every enclosure. This full-range driver layout delivers a frequency response of 33Hz to 22kHz at 98dB sensitivity and an 8-ohm load. The amplifier must supply between 10 and 350 watts per channel to operate within these parameters. Installers who cannot meet that power range will not achieve the rated performance.

Spring-loaded terminals and paintable grilles

Spring-loaded raw-wire terminals accept CL3-rated in-wall speaker cable for a secure connection without soldering. The durable ABS housings and removable grilles are paint-ready, allowing the speakers to blend into any décor after installation. The rectangular cut-out measures 19.21 by 7.4 inches with a 3.03-inch mounting depth, while the overall flange size is 20.47 by 8.66 inches. Systems that require proprietary connectors or pre-finished colours are not supported by this package.

Questions about this item

How low does the 33 Hz reach go in a typical living-room setup?

The speakers play down to 33 Hz, so you hear deep bass effects and music fundamentals without a separate subwoofer in most rooms.

What does the 8 ohm / 98 dB rating mean for my receiver?

At 8 ohms and 98 dB sensitivity, the set works with any receiver delivering 10 to 350 watts per channel without strain.

Will the 20.47" x 8.66" frame cover a 19.21" x 7.4" cut-out?

Yes — the grille overlaps the opening by about half an inch on each side, and the 3.03" mounting depth fits standard 2×4 wall cavities.
