14-Pack In-Ceiling Speaker Set

The Theater Solutions TS80C is a 14-piece in-ceiling speaker set designed for whole-home audio or large surround installations. Each unit is a passive two-way design with an 8-inch woven-fibre woofer and a pivoting silk-titanium dome tweeter. The flush-mount housings use a pressure-lock mounting system that clamps to drywall without separate hardware. Grilles are paintable to match any ceiling finish.

Ideal for Multi-Room and Large Theatre Builds

This pack suits installers or owners wiring seven zones or a 7.1 theatre in a single purchase. The 32 Hz to 20 kHz response and 92 dB sensitivity at 8 ohms work well with modest amplifiers rated between 10 and 250 watts per channel. Buyers needing active speakers, wireless connectivity, or a smaller quantity should consider other options.

Eight-Inch Drivers with 250 W Headroom

The 8-inch cones deliver full-range coverage for music and film soundtracks in medium to large rooms. Power handling tops out at 250 watts per channel, so very high-output systems may exceed the speakers’ thermal limits. Mounting depth of 3.5625 inches and a 9.625-inch cutout fit standard joist bays, while spring-loaded terminals accept raw speaker wire for quick termination.

Questions about this item

What amplifier power range do I need to drive these 8" in-ceiling speakers?

Your receiver or amplifier must deliver between 10 and 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms to match the speakers' 92 dB sensitivity and 32 Hz–20 kHz frequency response.

Will the Pressure Lock Mounting System hold these speakers in my existing 9.625" cut-outs?

Yes, the Pressure Lock Mounting System clamps directly to drywall in a 9.625" round hole with a 3.5625" mounting depth and requires no extra hardware.

How can I verify the speakers are performing correctly after installation?

Play a full-range test signal and confirm smooth output from 32 Hz to 20 kHz with both the 8" woven fiber woofers and pivoting silk titanium tweeters active, and measure roughly 92 dB output at 1 watt/1 metre.
