Questions about this item

How do I mount the GWN7664ELR and which PoE standard should I use?

Mount the access point outdoors using the included hardware, then connect it to a PoE or PoE+ injector; the unit auto-detects the power class and adapts itself.

What part will need replacement first on the GWN7664ELR?

The only field-replaceable items are the two 2.5 Gbps RJ45 and SFP ports; the radio and antenna arrays are sealed for the product's lifetime.

At what point does the GWN7664ELR hit its throughput ceiling under heavy load?

Aggregate wireless throughput tops out at 6 Gbps, while each wired uplink is limited to 2.5 Gbps, so the wired ports saturate before the radio does.
