36 mm Black on Yellow Laminated Tape

This 6-pack supplies 36 mm wide black-on-yellow laminated tape for Brother P-touch label makers. Each cassette holds 26.2 feet of standard laminated material designed for indoor and outdoor use. The adhesive resists water, oil, dust and high temperatures while remaining easy to peel without leaving sticky residue. Crisp text and scannable barcodes suit shop price tags, toolbox labels, file markers and general organisation.

Suits cable and bin labelling; not for narrow slots

The 36 mm width fits cable bundles, warehouse bins, shipping cartons and appliance tags where bold, scannable labels are needed. Buyers who need narrower tape for tight panels, small components or portable labellers should look at a different width. The laminated finish handles harsh environments but adds bulk that may not suit ultra-thin label channels.

36 mm width decides fit

Only printers that accept 36 mm TZe cassettes can use this tape. Compatible models include PT-P910BT, PT-P900W, PT-P950W, PT-P950NW, PT-530, PT-550, PT-E800W, PT-9700PC, PT-9200, PT-9400, PT-9500, PT-9600, PT-9800 and PT-D800W. Verify the printer’s maximum tape width before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 36mm tape in my PT-E800W and what step do people often miss?

Open the cassette cover, drop the TZe-661 cartridge in with the tape facing the print head, close the cover until it clicks, then press the feed-and-cut key once to clear slack — skipping that feed step causes the first label to jam or print crooked.

What part of the 6-pack will need replacing first under heavy use?

Each cartridge holds 26.2 feet of laminated tape; the adhesive layer and thermal coating wear out together, so you replace the whole cassette when print contrast fades or labels stop sticking cleanly.

At what width does the PT-D800W stop printing cleanly on this yellow tape during long runs?

The printer is rated for 36mm (1.4") media; sustained batches at that full width can overheat the thermal head, causing faded bars or skipped dots before the tape itself fails.
