32-channel 4K NVR recorder

The GW5532NS is a 32-channel 4K network video recorder that supports up to 32 IP cameras. It records at resolutions up to 12.0 MP and uses H.264 or H.265 video encoding. The unit has two internal SATA drive slots and accepts up to 20 TB of total storage. A USB mouse, power adapter and manual CD are included in the box.

Installers wanting ONVIF camera flexibility

This recorder works with any ONVIF 2.6-compatible IP camera and offers a three-step QR-code setup for smartphone viewing through the free RealView Pro app. It has no built-in PoE ports, so cameras require separate power or an external switch. Buyers who need PoE power delivery from the recorder itself should consider a different model.

320 Mbps recording bandwidth decides capacity

The 320 Mbps incoming bandwidth limit determines how many high-resolution streams can be recorded simultaneously. At 4K resolution all 32 channels can run in real time, but higher megapixel settings reduce the number of real-time channels. Verify that your planned camera bit-rates stay within this 320 Mbps ceiling before purchasing.
