Eyemax Prestige TVST PVT 8CH 4K 8MP DVR 2 TB video recorder

8-channel 4K 8MP DVR for multi-camera sites

The Eyemax Prestige TVST PVT recorder handles eight analogue HD channels at up to 8 megapixels each. It accepts HD-TVI, CVI, AHD and 960H signals so installers can mix camera types on one unit. A 2 TB drive is fitted and H.265 encoding extends recording time by roughly 30 percent. The Magic Viewer app adds remote live view and playback from mobile devices.

Sustained recording with H.265 efficiency

H.265 compression keeps bit-rates lower during continuous capture, giving up to 30 percent more footage on the same 2 TB volume. Individual channels can be tuned for resolution, frame rate and picture quality to match bandwidth limits. A programmable spot output can push any video source to HDMI, VGA or composite at up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. Megabit Ethernet and a dual CODEC engine maintain independent network streams without mirroring the local display.

Verify camera signal types

The recorder supports HD-TVI, CVI, AHD and 960H inputs; cameras using other analogue standards will not work. Eight audio inputs are available if sound recording is required. PTZ control relies on RS-485 wiring, so check cable runs and protocol compatibility. Buyers who want IP camera channels or larger onboard storage should look elsewhere.
