2MP Bullet Camera for Outdoor Surveillance

The Gyration CYBERVIEW 200B is a white bullet network camera built for outdoor monitoring. It captures 2MP video at 1920x1080 resolution using a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor. The fixed 2.8mm lens provides a wide field of view suitable for general area coverage. ONVIF compliance ensures integration with compatible recording platforms.

Installation Uses PoE and Standard Mounting

Power over Ethernet delivers data and power through a single cable, reducing cabling complexity. The camera supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB for local edge storage. A built-in microphone adds audio capture without extra wiring. Smart IR illumination reaches up to 30m (98ft) for night vision, though incorrect aiming can cause glare from nearby surfaces.

Check Network and Storage Requirements First

Verify your NVR or VMS supports ONVIF Profile S and the H.265, H.264 or MJPEG codecs used by this camera. Ensure the PoE switch or injector supplies sufficient power for the device. Confirm that 1080P at 25 or 30fps matches your recording bandwidth and retention needs. The 2.8mm focal length is fixed and cannot be adjusted remotely.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 2MP 1920x1080 video feed is live after mounting the CYBERVIEW 200B?

Connect the camera to a PoE switch, then open its IP address in a browser or ONVIF-compatible NVR. The live view should show 1080p at 25 or 30 fps with the 2.8mm wide-angle picture.

What comes in the box with the CYBERVIEW 200B and what must I purchase separately?

The camera includes a built-in microphone and a 2.8mm fixed lens. You must buy a micro SD card up to 128GB for local recording and provide a PoE switch or injector for power.

Which resolution setting should I choose between 1080p and 720p on this 2MP bullet camera?

Select 1920x1080 at 25 or 30 fps for full 2MP detail using Ultra 265, H.265 or H.264. Drop to 1280x720 only if you need to reduce bandwidth or storage consumption.
