Intelligent 8MP dome camera

The Gyration CYBERVIEW 810D is a fixed-lens dome camera that captures 8MP video at 20fps and drops to 5MP, 4MP or 2MP at 30fps or 25fps. It uses a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor and supports Ultra 265, H.265, H.264 and MJPEG compression. The white housing is rated for outdoor mounting.

PoE-powered with local storage

A single Ethernet cable delivers both data and power, removing the need for a separate power supply. The built-in Micro SD slot accepts cards up to 256GB, so footage can be recorded on the camera itself without a dedicated recorder. Intelligent perimeter protection analytics run on the device.

Upgrade from lower-resolution domes

The jump is worthwhile when existing 2MP or 4MP domes no longer provide enough detail for identification at distance. Buyers who need motorised zoom, varifocal lenses or higher frame rates at 8MP will need a different model.

Questions about this item

How long can the 810D record at 8 MP before the Micro SD card fills up?

A 256 GB card holds many hours of 8 MP footage at 20 fps using Ultra 265 or H.265 compression, with exact duration depending on scene complexity and bitrate settings.

How warm does the dome get when streaming 8 MP video continuously?

The IP67-rated dome is designed for outdoor operation and dissipates heat through its metal housing during all-day 8 MP streaming.

Does the 810D need a separate power supply or will a PoE switch run it?

The camera supports PoE so a single Ethernet cable from a PoE switch or injector provides both power and data.
