HANNORD Cat 7 Flat Ethernet Cable 100 ft

This flat Cat 7 cable delivers up to 10000 Mbps transmission speed with 600 MHz bandwidth for gaming, streaming and server use. It suits home and office networks needing high-speed wired links over a 30 metre run. The 32 AWG multi-strand construction and SSTP shielding keep interference low across the full length.

Upgrade from older Cat 5 or Cat 6 patch cords

Replacing a legacy Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable with this Cat 7 link raises the ceiling to 10 Gigabit throughput and 600 MHz bandwidth. The jump is worth it when your router, switch or NAS already supports 10 GbE and you need consistent low-latency performance for competitive gaming or 4K streaming. If your gear tops out at 1 GbE the extra headroom stays unused.

Flat profile eases routing under carpet

The ribbon-style jacket slides under flooring and hugs baseboards without the bulk of round cables, and the snagless moulded boots protect the gold-plated RJ45 clips during pulls. Take care not to kink the 32 AWG conductors sharply at corners; excessive bending can degrade the shield integrity. Ensure each connector clicks fully into the port to avoid intermittent link drops.

Questions about this item

How wide is the flat profile so I know if it fits under my carpet?

The cable uses a flat Cat 7 design with 32AWG multi‑strand conductors that slides easily under carpet or along baseboards without adding noticeable height.

Do I need to strip or crimp the RJ45 ends, or are they ready to plug in?

Both ends come with gold‑plated RJ45 8P8C connectors, molded strain‑relief boots and snagless molds — just plug them into your router, console or switch.

Will the gold‑plated contacts need cleaning or replacement over time?

The gold‑plated contacts resist corrosion and the bare copper conductors meet Cat 7 specs, so no routine cleaning or connector replacement is required.
