Cat 8 Cable 15 ft 40 Gbps

This 15 ft Cat 8 patch cord delivers up to 40 Gbps and 2000 MHz bandwidth. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contact. The flat braided nylon jacket resists tangling and fits neatly along skirting boards or through trunking. It is suited to home and office networks that demand high throughput.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

Gamers, streamers and professionals moving large files will benefit from the extra headroom. Households running only basic browsing or 1080p streaming will not see a practical difference over a Cat 5e or Cat 6 link. Buyers who need longer runs beyond 15 ft or angled connectors for tight ports should look elsewhere.

Deciding Specification — 2000 MHz Bandwidth

The 2000 MHz rating is the single figure that determines whether this cable matches your infrastructure. If your router, switch or NIC supports Cat 8 frequencies the cord will perform to its rated ceiling; if the connected gear tops out at Cat 6 frequencies the extra bandwidth goes unused.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 15 ft length or a different size for my setup?

The 15 ft cable suits typical desk-to-router runs; choose a longer version only if the distance between devices exceeds that span.

Will I actually see 40 Gbps throughput on my home network?

The 40 Gbps rating is the cable’s maximum capability; real-world speed is limited by your router, NIC, and ISP plan, so you will only reach that rate if every link in the chain supports it.

What does the 2000 MHz bandwidth figure mean for daily use?

The 2000 MHz bandwidth gives the cable headroom for Cat 8’s 40 Gbps specification, ensuring stable signal quality even at the highest rated data rates.
