Dual-sensor dome for wide-area monitoring

The PNM-12082RVD combines two 6-megapixel 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensors in a single vandal-resistant dome rated IP66, IK10 and NEMA4X. Each sensor captures up to 3328x1872 resolution at 15 frames per second using H.264, H.265 or M-JPEG compression. Motorised varifocal lenses cover 3.54 to 6.69mm with 1.9x optical zoom and a 78-degree tilt range for flexible scene framing.

Infrared reach defines night coverage

Integrated IR LEDs provide viewable distance up to 82 feet (25 metres) based on scene reflectance. Minimum colour illumination is 0.16 lux at F1.67 with 1/30-second shutter and 30 IRE, dropping to zero lux when the IR illuminator is active. Extreme wide dynamic range of 120 dB and WiseNR noise reduction preserve detail in high-contrast lighting.

Suits installers needing two viewpoints from one

The dual-sensor design reduces cabling and mounting points for entrances, loading bays or corridor intersections. Buyers who require a single panoramic view, higher frame rates at maximum resolution, or built-in analytics licences should evaluate alternative form factors. TPM 2.0 with FIPS 140-2 certification meets hardened cybersecurity requirements for regulated environments.

Questions about this item

What does the 6 MP resolution mean once the camera is installed?

Each of the two sensors captures up to 3328x1872 pixels, so the unit delivers a combined 6 megapixel view across both channels at up to 15 frames per second.

How does the network interface limit real-world throughput?

The camera uses a wired IP connection with H.264, H.265 and M-JPEG compression, so bandwidth is determined by the chosen codec and the 15 fps maximum at full resolution.

What physical space and mounting does the dome need?

The motorised varifocal lens covers 3.54-6.69 mm with 78° tilt, and the housing meets IP66, IK10 and NEMA4X for outdoor wall or ceiling mounting.
