6MP Outdoor Fisheye Camera

The Hanwha Techwin XNF-8010RV is a 6MP outdoor fisheye network camera from the WiseNet X series. It uses a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor with a fixed 1.6mm focal length to deliver a wide panoramic view. The wired unit supports H.264, M-JPEG and H.265 compression methods for efficient recording and streaming.

Suited for Wide-Area Monitoring

This camera suits installers needing a single weatherproof device to cover large open spaces such as car parks, warehouses or retail floors. It is not intended for applications requiring optical zoom or a narrow field of view to identify distant details. Buyers who need adjustable focal lengths should consider a different form factor.

Fixed 1.6mm Focal Length

The 1.6mm fixed lens determines the ultra-wide viewing angle and cannot be changed after installation. This specification decides whether the camera matches the required coverage area for the specific mounting height and scene. Verify the resulting field of view against your site plan before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.6mm fisheye lens or the 1/1.8" CMOS sensor need periodic cleaning or replacement?

The 1.6mm fisheye lens and 1/1.8" CMOS sensor have no user-serviceable parts; only occasional exterior lens cleaning is needed.

What limits continuous 6MP recording on the XNF-8010RV first — storage bandwidth or the H.265 encoder throughput?

The H.265, H.264 and M-JPEG encoders handle the 6MP stream; the practical limit is the connected recorder or network storage write speed.

How warm does the weatherproof housing get and does the camera draw extra power during all-day outdoor operation?

The outdoor-rated housing dissipates heat passively; power draw stays within normal PoE limits with no additional cooling required.
