Purpose & Audience

The Hiseeu WHD305 is a 5MP outdoor network camera designed for homeowners who want a single Wi-Fi device that combines pan, tilt, digital zoom, floodlight illumination and two-way audio. It suits users comfortable with a 2.4 GHz wireless network and a wired power adapter.

Build Integration

The camera connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and requires a plugged-in power adapter, so an outdoor socket or weatherproof cable run is necessary. It stores footage locally on a microSD card up to 128 GB or streams to the EseeCloud app on mobile and Windows PC, and it can also join a compatible Hiseeu wireless camera system for multi-channel recording.

Sustained Operation

Rated IP66, the housing resists dust and heavy rain during continuous outdoor exposure. Four infrared LEDs and four floodlights provide selectable colour or monochrome night vision for round-the-clock monitoring, while the 320° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation with 5x digital zoom lets the camera follow detected motion across a wide area without manual repositioning.

Questions about this item

How long can the 128 GB card record before it overwrites the oldest footage?

Recording time depends on the bit-rate you select in the EseeCloud app; at typical 5 MP settings a 128 GB card holds several days of continuous video before looping.

Does the 320 ° horizontal sweep and four floodlights raise the housing temperature enough to trigger thermal throttling?

The IP66-rated housing is built to dissipate heat from the LEDs and motor during all-day operation, so the camera stays within its normal working temperature range.

Since the camera only connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, must my router broadcast a separate 2.4 GHz SSID or can it share a combined SSID?

It joins any 2.4 GHz network, including a combined dual-band SSID, as long as the router forwards the 2.4 GHz band to the camera.
