Two-PC Dual-Monitor KVM

The Hitoor SW221 is an HDMI 2.1 KVM switch that lets two computers share two monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports extended and copy display modes for multitasking across both screens. Front-panel push buttons and a wired remote provide two ways to switch the active computer. The unit includes a 12 V DC power adapter and two USB 3.0 cables.

HDMI 2.1 Bandwidth Limits

The switch passes video up to 8K at 60 Hz and is backward compatible with 4K at 120 Hz, 4K at 60 Hz, 2K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. Achieving the highest resolution requires the computer, monitor and all cables to support 8K 60 Hz. Total cable length from PC to KVM to monitor should be kept as short as practical to maintain signal integrity. USB 3.0 ports operate at up to 5 Gbps for connected peripherals.

2-In 2-Out Topology

This model provides exactly two HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, so it only suits setups with two computers and two displays. Builders needing to share three or more computers or a single monitor must choose a different switch. The four USB 3.0 ports handle keyboard, mouse, storage and other peripherals for both systems.

Questions about this item

How do I pick between the single 8K@60Hz mode and the 4K@120Hz option for my dual-monitor setup?

The switch handles both simultaneously — each HDMI output can run 8K at 60 Hz or drop to 4K at 120 Hz, so choose the resolution and refresh rate that matches each monitor's native capability.

What does the 8K@60Hz headline figure actually deliver when I connect two PCs and two displays?

Both computers can drive two monitors at 7680x2160 resolution and 60 Hz refresh, provided every link — GPU, cable, and monitor — supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth.

Which HDMI standard limits the 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz caps in practice?

HDMI 2.1 on the PC connectors sets the ceiling; the switch passes 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz without downscaling as long as source and display both implement the same spec.
