The pair operates on two channels within the 467.5625-467.6625MHZ band and offers up to 1000FT range for outdoor games.

Check power and environment

The radios require six AAA batteries in total, which are not supplied, so have a fresh set ready before gifting. They are rated water resistant and dust proof, making them suitable for camping or hiking, but they are not submersible. Verify that the 467.5625-467.6625MHZ frequency is permitted for licence-free use in your region.

Built for daily adventures

A lanyard hole on each chassis helps prevent drops during climbing or cycling, though the lanyard itself is not included. The simple push-to-talk button and single-step channel lock avoid accidental changes during play. Auxiliary and headphone jacks are present for private listening, while the compact 3.7084 by 11.811 by 12.9032 cm form slips easily into a pocket or pack.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy batteries separately?

The box contains two Holiky WTK08 walkie-talkies. They require six AAA batteries in total, which are not included and must be purchased separately.

How do I decide between the two channels on these walkie-talkies?

Both units share the same two channels within the 467.5625–467.6625 MHz range. Choose the channel that is clear of other traffic in your area; there is no functional difference between them.

What does the 1000FT range mean when the kids are using them outdoors?

The 1000FT figure is a maximum line-of-sight distance in open conditions. Buildings, trees, hills or interference will reduce the practical range during camping, hiking or neighbourhood play.
