Home and Country USA Silt Sock 8" x 350' Filter Fabric accessory

Erosion Control Sock for Storm-Water Management

The Home and Country USA Silt Sock is a filter fabric barrier designed for sediment and erosion control on construction and landscaping sites. It functions as an alternative to traditional silt fence for perimeter protection, inlet protection, and concrete washout containment. The sock arrives in new condition ready for deployment in storm-water management applications.

Suitable for Sites Where Trenching Is Impractical

This product suits crews working on frozen ground, solid surfaces, or environmentally sensitive areas where digging a trench for silt fence would cause further disturbance. It also fits projects requiring customized pollutant removal or stacked configurations for low valleys and steep slopes. Buyers needing a permanent structural retaining wall or a rigid containment system for hazardous chemical spills should look elsewhere.

350-Foot Length Covers Extended Perimeters

The 350-foot roll provides continuous coverage for long drainage channels, large construction perimeters, or multiple inlet protection points. Its filter fabric traps sediment and soluble pollutants while allowing water flow, and accumulated solids can be removed easily during maintenance. The sock reaches its limit when sediment loading exceeds the fabric's pore capacity or when hydraulic pressure from concentrated high-velocity flows causes overtopping or bypass.
