Whole-room tower fan

The Honeywell HYF260W is a 40-inch tower fan designed for whole-room air circulation. It offers five speed settings, oscillation and a remote control for convenient operation. An auto-dim feature reduces control-panel brightness after 15 seconds.

Bedrooms and quiet spaces

This fan suits buyers who want adjustable airflow with low noise levels in bedrooms, living rooms or home offices. The timer provides 1, 2, 4 and 8-hour auto shut-off options. It is not for buyers who need a fan with a smaller footprint or without a remote control.

40-inch height

The tower stands 40 inches tall with a 10-inch square base and weighs 6.81 lbs. ETL compliance is listed for electrical safety. The one-piece plastic housing requires no tools for assembly.

Questions about this item

Which of the five speed settings should I choose for the quietest operation?

Speed 1 provides the lowest sound level while still delivering airflow; each higher step increases both cooling power and noise.

What does the 40 inch height mean once the fan is assembled in my room?

The tower reaches 40 inches tall at its maximum extension, so measure ceiling clearance and furniture height to ensure it fits without obstruction.

How does the ETL compliance standard cap what this fan can do in practice?

ETL certification confirms the unit meets North American safety requirements for electrical construction, but it does not limit speed, oscillation or timer functions.
