Converts a 2.5 SSD to fit a 3.5 drive bay using HP part 654540-001
This HP bracket converts a 2.5 inch solid-state drive into a 3.5 inch form factor. It allows installation of a smaller SSD into a standard 3.5 inch drive bay found in many desktop chassis. The part number is 654540-001 and it is supplied new.
Verify that your 2.5 inch drive does not exceed the height supported by the bracket screw holes. Ensure the 3.5 inch bay in your chassis uses the standard screw spacing that matches this adapter. Confirm you have the necessary screws to secure both the drive to the bracket and the bracket to the case.
Measured against everything we stock in SATA, IDE & M.2 Drive Adapters, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The bracket is supplied as a single adapter piece; mounting screws for the 2.5 inch drive are not included and must be sourced separately.
Both 654540-001 and 651314-001 refer to the same HP 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch adapter bracket, so either number identifies the correct part.
