A 700 W hot-plug redundant power supply for HP ProLiant DL360 G5 servers, operating on 240 V AC input
This genuine HP redundant power supply delivers 700W for the ProLiant DL360 G5 series. It supports the Base, Entry and Performance models as well as the CSSO and Pwr Spply Assembly DL36X Hot Plug PFC Kit. The hot-plug design allows replacement without shutting down the server.
At 700W the unit handles the full load of a single DL360 G5 configuration. In redundant mode two modules share the load so one can fail or be removed while the other maintains operation. If only one module is installed there is no fail-over protection.
The supply requires a 240V AC source and fits the DL360 G5 hot-plug bay. It does not support lower-voltage mains or non-hot-plug chassis. Compatibility is limited to the listed DL360 G5 variants and the CSSO assembly kit.

Yes, it is a redundant hot-plug supply designed for the DL360 G5 series, so it will operate in parallel with the existing unit for failover.
The server's front-panel power LEDs and Integrated Lights-Out will show both supplies active, and the hot-plug design lets you verify operation without shutdown.
The supplier lists the PFC kit as a separate compatibility item, so the box contains the 700W redundant power supply only.
