Ceiling-mountable wireless access point delivering 3 Gbit/s over dual-band 802.11ac with eight internal antennas, two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and PoE power
The Aruba AP-345 is a dual-band wireless access point built for ceiling mounting in office and enterprise environments. It supports IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 with a maximum wireless transmission speed of 3 Gbit/s across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Eight internal antennas provide multi-user MIMO and beamforming for consistent coverage.
The unit draws power through its PoE PD port, removing the need for a local power outlet. Two RJ-45 ports offer Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks, while a dedicated management port and a USB interface simplify initial configuration and ongoing monitoring. Ceiling-mount brackets are included for quick installation.
Multi-user MIMO and eight spatial streams allow the AP to serve many simultaneous clients without contention. The 3 Gbit/s aggregate throughput handles high-definition video, voice and large file transfers across both frequency bands. Networks requiring higher aggregate bandwidth or outdoor-rated hardware will need a different model.

The AP-345 is rated for a wireless transmission speed of 3 Gbit/s across its dual-band 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz radios.
It draws power through the PoE PD port and has no internal fan, so it runs silently with minimal heat in a ceiling-mount installation.
A PoE-capable switch or injector is needed for power, plus a wired uplink to one of the two RJ-45 ports that support Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.
