Refurbished 14-inch business laptop

This HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a refurbished unit running Windows 11 Pro on an 8th-generation Intel Core i5-8350U processor with 8 GB of DDR4-2400 memory and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 14.0" FHD IPS anti-glare panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 220 cd/m² covering 67% sRGB. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory for display output.

Mobile professionals needing Windows 11 on a light

The specification suits office work, web apps and video calls over 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 with a wired 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN option. Buyers who want a dedicated GPU for creative rendering, a touchscreen for pen input, or a larger colour gamut for colour-critical design should consider other models.

Single SODIMM limits memory expansion

The laptop ships with one 8 GB DDR4-2400 module installed, occupying the only confirmed slot. Adding more memory requires replacing that module rather than adding a second one, so the practical ceiling is set by the largest single stick the platform accepts.
