Compact business laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G7 is a 14-inch notebook built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine for office applications and video calls. Its quad-core i5-10310U processor reaches 4.4 GHz boost speeds alongside 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD.

Durable chassis with versatile ports

A non-touch 1920 x 1080 display sits in a workstation-class frame that meets MIL-STD durability targets. Two USB 3.1 Type-C ports with Thunderbolt support, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and an HDMI output handle docks, monitors and peripherals without dongles. Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5 keep wireless connections stable in busy offices.

Steps up from 8 GB ultraportables

The 16 GB memory floor removes the bottleneck common in baseline business laptops, letting you run virtual machines or large spreadsheets without swapping. Integrated UHD 620 graphics handle productivity and streaming but cannot replace discrete GPU power for 3D rendering or gaming workloads.
