HP EliteBook 840 G7 Touchscreen

This 14-inch laptop runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5-10210U processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD. The Full HD touchscreen and Thunderbolt 3 ports support mobile professionals who need a responsive display and fast peripheral connections. Grade B cosmetic condition means visible wear is present.

Suits users wanting 32 GB RAM and touch input

Buyers who need a discrete graphics card for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere because this model uses integrated Intel UHD Graphics with shared memory. The 256 GB drive may also feel restrictive for anyone storing large media libraries or virtual machines locally.

32 GB DDR4 memory is soldered

The memory capacity cannot be increased after purchase, so the 32 GB ceiling is fixed for the life of the device. Confirm that this amount meets your workload before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the box contain only the laptop, charger and battery or are any cables or adapters missing?

The package includes the laptop, its charger and the battery installed. No extra cables, docks or adapters are mentioned.

With 32 GB of DDR4 and a 256 GB NVMe drive, is this configuration enough for heavy multitasking or should I look for a larger SSD?

32 GB DDR4 handles many browser tabs, Office apps and virtual machines simultaneously. The 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD is fast but fills quickly with large media libraries; an external drive can supplement it.

The i5-10210U runs at 1.6 GHz with 4 cores and 8 threads — how does that feel in daily Windows 11 Pro use?

The quad-core 1.6 GHz processor with 8 threads and 6 MB cache keeps Windows 11 Pro responsive for email, video calls and spreadsheet work; sustained heavy renders will hit the 15 W power limit.
