Business laptop for professionals

The HP EliteBook 845 G8 pairs a Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U six-core processor with 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe PCIe drive. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 14.0 inch 1920 x 1080 LED-backlit display. The integrated Radeon graphics share system memory for everyday visual tasks.

Capacity and headroom

Six cores and twelve threads at 2.3 GHz base clock give solid throughput for office suites, browser-heavy workflows and light content creation. The 1 TB NVMe SSD provides ample space for large project files and fast boot times. The 8 GB soldered memory ceiling means heavy virtualisation or big data sets will hit a hard limit.

Build, connectors and daily use

A silver aluminium chassis meets MIL-STD durability standards while keeping weight low for commuters. Two USB-C 10 Gbps ports support power delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 for docks or external monitors. Two USB-A 5 Gbps ports, HDMI, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 cover legacy peripherals and wireless needs. The integrated webcam handles video calls without extra hardware. Grade B cosmetic condition includes visible scratches or shiny key surfaces; buyers wanting pristine cosmetics should look elsewhere.
