Portable business laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G7 is a 14.0 inch touchscreen laptop built for professionals who need a compact Windows 11 Pro machine. It weighs little, fits in a small bag and delivers enough performance for office applications, video calls and light multitasking on the move.

32 GB DDR4 memory

The single specification that decides fit is the 32 GB DDR4 system memory paired with a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. This combination handles large spreadsheets, multiple browser tabs and local file caches without swapping, so buyers who need more RAM or storage should look elsewhere.

Straightforward deployment

The laptop ships with charger and battery included, so it boots to a ready Windows 11 Pro desktop after first-run setup. Cosmetic Grade B means visible scratches or shiny keys are normal; the screen may show a very minor blemish. No hardware assembly is required, but buyers expecting a pristine chassis should note the cosmetic allowance.

Questions about this item

How does the 1.60 GHz i5-10210U feel in daily office work?

The quad-core, eight-thread chip runs at 1.60 GHz base and boosts higher under load, so web apps, spreadsheets and video calls stay responsive while the 15 W envelope keeps fan noise low.

What does the Thunderbolt 3 port actually let me connect?

Each Thunderbolt 3 port supplies data, DisplayPort video and power over one cable, letting you add an external SSD, a 4K monitor or a dock without extra adapters.

Will the 14.0 inch chassis accept a second drive or more RAM?

The 32 GB DDR4 is soldered and the single M.2 slot holds the 2 TB NVMe drive already installed, so no internal expansion is possible.
