Ready-to-work business laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G5 is a 15.6 inch FHD notebook with an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor, 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 2 TB SSD. Windows 11 Pro is installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks. Connectivity includes USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C with Thunderbolt, HDMI 1.4b, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1.

Suits mobile professionals needing a large screen

This configuration fits users who want a silver aluminium chassis, numeric keypad and vPro manageability in a mainstream 15.6 inch form factor. Buyers who need a touchscreen, discrete graphics or a smaller 13.3 or 14 inch footprint should consider other models. The single 2 TB drive leaves no internal bay for a second SSD.

Check your docking and peripheral requirements

Verify that your existing dock uses the proprietary docking connector found on this series. Confirm that USB Type-C peripherals work with Thunderbolt over USB 3.1 Gen 1. Ensure your power adapter matches the included OEM unit. The SIM slot and smart-card reader are optional and may not be populated on every unit.
