Ready-to-work business laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G7 ships with Windows 11 Pro, 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe drive so it is ready for office workloads straight from the box. The quad-core i5-10310U at 1.7 GHz handles everyday multitasking without extra configuration. A 15.6 inch FHD IPS panel gives clear text and consistent colour for long sessions. Grade B cosmetic condition means visible wear but full function.

Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI expand the desk

Two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support let you attach a single-cable dock, external storage or high-resolution displays. The HDMI output adds a simple route to projectors or meeting-room screens. Two USB 3.1 Type-A ports keep legacy peripherals working, one of them providing charging power. Intel AX201 Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 deliver modern wireless speeds for cloud apps and accessories.

Durable chassis built for daily travel

The silver aluminium-alloy body resists flex and meets MIL-STD durability targets for shock and vibration. A 15.6 inch footprint balances screen space with a weight that fits standard laptop bags. The 720p webcam includes a physical privacy shutter for conference calls. Grade B units show scratches or shiny keys but no structural damage, and the included AC adapter matches the original wattage.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 TB NVMe drive need replacing before the 32 GB DDR4 memory?

The 1 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD is a wear component with a finite write endurance; the 32 GB DDR4 memory has no wear-out mechanism, so the drive will likely need replacement first.

What limits sustained performance first — the 15 W CPU package or the shared Intel UHD Graphics memory?

The 15 W processor power envelope caps clock speeds under continuous load before the shared system memory allocated to Intel UHD Graphics becomes a bottleneck.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when both Thunderbolt 3 ports and the HDMI output drive external displays all day?

Driving multiple displays over Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI keeps the 15 W quad-core processor active, so fan noise rises and the silver chassis becomes warm to the touch during extended sessions.
