Questions about this item

What speeds does the Thunderbolt 4 interface cap at in practice?

Thunderbolt 4 caps at 40 Gbps, driving two 4K displays or one 8K display and supporting PCIe NVMe storage at full lane speed.

What physical clearance does the 15.6 inch chassis need for the 0.85 inch profile?

The 0.85 inch thin chassis fits standard 15.6 inch laptop sleeves and backpacks; allow a few millimetres extra for the hinge and rear port overhang.

How is the NVMe SSD installed and what step is often missed?

The 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD is factory-installed in the M.2 slot; the step often missed is enabling the NVMe controller in BIOS before cloning or restoring an OS image.
